Meals to Heal is now Savor Health

I founded Meals to Heal in 2012 because I wanted to support people who are facing cancer. I knew that nutrition plays an important role in staying strong during cancer treatment and thriving in survivorship. The research was out there, but it wasn’t getting to the people who needed it — like me, as I did my best to support a friend.

I’m so proud of what we’ve done as Meals to Heal, but I realized it was time to do more. After working so closely with cancer patients and their loved ones during treatment, I knew we needed to expand our offerings to support them in recovery, gearing up for treatment, and survivorship.

We’re now Savor Health, in order to reflect how we’re here to help you savor everything in your life — your family, your friends, and, of course, your food! We’re here to empower you to take control of your unique nutritional needs throughout your cancer journey.

Food is the one thing you can control. Savor Health offers an individualized approach, specific to your diagnosis, treatment, and symptoms.

As researchers uncover the role of genetics and other risk factors, more and more of us know we’re predisposed to develop cancer. We’re here to help you turn research on cancer prevention into realistic lifestyle changes.

We’ll always be your source for support during treatment. Side effects go far beyond appetite loss and taste changes. Treatment is a grueling experience and we can help you manage symptoms, maintain your strength, and maintain your quality of life.

We’re partnering with new chefs to bring you meals that are fresher and tastier than ever before. We will now be offering daily delivered fresh meals packed with even more cancer fighting nutrients and delicious flavor. As always, our team of oncology-credentialed registered dietitians are carefully selecting your meals to ensure that they meet your needs and preferences.

Proper nutrition is no less critical after treatment and during survivorship. Getting back in the kitchen is a huge victory — we want to continue supporting you as you get back into the groove of everyday life. And if you’d rather continue leaving the prep up to us, we’re happy to take care of it for you. Either way, we’ll help you regain your strength and have the energy to live your best life.

Our team of oncology certified registered dietitian nutritionists is available 7 days a week for one-on-one counseling sessions. We’re also available to guide you through the process of ordering meals tailored to your needs and answer all of your questions.

We’re so thankful to all of you for providing feedback. Your suggestions drove us to develop a new line of meals we’re very proud of and to expand our work to provide a wider range of support. We’ve already got more new services in development — we want to provide you with truly personalized support, 24/7.
