To Juice or Not to Juice?

The Oncology Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics shares with us their advice!

Juicing is a great way to add more servings of vegetables and fruit to an already-healthy diet; however, your first five servings of vegetables and fruit should come from whole foods, not juice. If you’re not meeting this five-a-day goal already, do this first. Once you establish— and stick to—a habit of having five servings of vegetables and fruit per day, try juicing to amp up the quality of your diet even more.
